The kit comes with a harness where you plug your daytime running light, I used an add a fuse to connect that harness. The other side was plugged into the factory harness albeit with the swapped plugs. The 2020 GT here has a 2 wire plug for its turn signals

@@gearguy70 The connection that you cut is the factory connection. How much cable do you cut to the connector? I have a 2020 kia forte

I didn't cut much, the pig tail I purchased has some extra wire, so I cut enough in the event I had to redo the factory connector I could without stressing the cables. So Id say I cut about 3" to 6", but added about the same from the purchased plug

The LED was a kit from the auto parts store added using a switched 12V add a fuse

Where did you get this Intake and Is it stock with the LED lighting or did you add that inside of it if you did what’s the link for that ? Was looking into this for my k3 GT

The kit comes with a harness, I just use an "add a fuse" onto a spot in the fuse box that had ignition on.

I beg to differ, as these engines are actually run in stock form in a touring car series against hondas and other similar displacement turbo cars. Take care of your car and it will take care of you. This car currently has around 48k miles with 0 issues. The only thing that has failed is the varex muffler valve which no longer works (won't close so car is always loud 🤣) Car has been serviced regularly and is a daily driver and has had occasional track time

Factory bypass valva, recirculates back to intake

The sound is what the car makes. With the ontake the turbo noise are much more noticeable At the moment of this video the car only had the intake installed. At the moment the car had an Xforce catback with Varex muffler. Other than that nothing else. Except the wheels and switchback turn signals

I believe so, the add a fuse had fuse in it and then I just replaced the one that was on there and placed it in the add a fuse

@gearguy70 my lights have two 5 amps (one for each side) I run them in series to that circuit. Do I add to that circuit the 5 amp or 10 amp fuse since both the left and right are 5 amps each?

@@LiuMoon13 honestly, I do not know. I ran what the lights came with. The signal lights themselves are powered by the factory signal wire, the connection with the add a fuse is only for the DRL if I am not mistaken

Better throttle response, can't say it makes more power cause I haven't dyno'd it at all, I have no baseline

I am unsure, you'll need to see if the harness is compatible. Otherwise, you'll need to do a custom install

For some reason, comments were not reaching me. If you haven't figured it out, the gt line uses the 2.0 engine, its a different intake altogether

Did you disconnect the battery before install? Sounds dumb but I think the car re calibrates and relearns throttle . I did not notice any slow down or hesitation

I do not know, you would need the sensors that are used for the mirrors to let you know

Currently just the AEM Intake and xforce catback. Cosmetics, just the LED switch back turn signals and konig hypergram wheels with. General Gmax summer tires

Bone stock otherwise. Recently installed an xforce catback exhaust. At the time of the video it had stock exhaust
